METALLICA's HAMMETT Talks About Meeting LARS ULRICH And JAMES HETFIELD; Video Available

The makers of "Get Thrashed: The Story of Thrash Metal", the much-anticipated documentary profiling the thrash metal scene of the early Eighties and its impact on the music scene, have posted a video clip of METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett about the San Francisco Bay Area club scene and the first time he met Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield. Watch it at this location (Windows Media).

"Get Thrashed: The Story of Thrash Metal" had its world premiere at the 2006 Raindance Film Festival in London. The documentary screened on October 3 at the CineWorld, Trocadero Centre, Piccadilly, London. Director Rick Ernst, a longtime freelance producer for MTV, was on hand at the event.
